Introduction
Eiwar Games (“Eiwar Games”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you play our mobile games, why we collect it, how we share it and the choices you have.
This Privacy Policy applies to all games, apps, websites and related services published by Eiwar Games (together, the “Services”), including games distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. It applies regardless of the device or platform you use.
Eiwar Games is operated by Eiwar Oyun Yazılım Limited Şirketi, a limited liability company registered in Türkiye, with its registered office at Esentepe Mah. Talat Paşa Cad. No: 5 İç Kapı No: 1, Şişli / İstanbul, Türkiye. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Eiwar Oyun Yazılım Limited Şirketi is the data controller of your personal information.
By downloading, installing or playing our games you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use our Services.
Information We Collect
What we collect depends on how you use our games. Our games do not require you to create an account or sign in, and we collect only the information needed to run the game, keep it stable and show ads.
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Support requests: your name (if given), email address, device details and the content of your message when you contact us by email or through the in-game help center.
- Survey and feedback responses: any answers you choose to give in optional in-game surveys.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you play, our games and the third-party software development kits (“SDKs”) built into them automatically collect:
- Device information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, screen size, memory, battery level and mobile network or Wi-Fi connection type.
- Identifiers: advertising identifiers (Apple IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android), vendor identifiers (Apple IDFV), app instance identifiers created by SDKs, and your IP address.
- Gameplay data: levels played, progress, scores, session length, in-game events, purchases made and how you interact with game features.
- Advertising data: which ads you were shown, whether you viewed or tapped them, and how you interact with ads.
- Diagnostics: crash logs, error reports and performance data.
- Approximate location: we do not collect precise GPS location. Some of our partners derive an approximate location (country or city level) from your IP address.
2.3 Information from third parties
- App stores: Apple and Google give us aggregated download, revenue and refund reports. We do not receive your payment card details.
- Advertising and attribution partners: they may tell us which campaign or ad led you to install a game, and may combine data about you from other apps and websites under their own privacy policies.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data such as health, religion, political opinions or biometric data.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Run the game: load and save your progress, deliver game content, process in-app purchases and restore purchases across devices.
- Fix and improve the game: diagnose crashes, balance levels, test new features and understand which parts of the game players enjoy.
- Show advertising: display ads inside the game, measure ad performance and limit how often you see the same ad. With your consent, ads may be personalised based on your interests.
- Measure marketing: understand which advertising campaigns bring new players and how much they cost.
- Provide support: answer your questions and resolve problems.
- Keep the game fair and secure: detect cheating, fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
- Send notifications: if you allow push notifications, remind you about rewards, events or updates. You can turn these off in your device settings at any time.
- Comply with the law: meet accounting, tax and legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and other jurisdictions that require them)
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract: to provide the game and services you request.
- Legitimate interests: to improve and secure our games, show non-personalised ads, measure marketing and communicate with you about the game, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: for personalised advertising, tracking across apps and websites (Apple App Tracking Transparency) and any other processing where we ask for your permission. You can withdraw consent at any time as described in Section 5.
- Legal obligation: where processing is required by applicable law.
Third-Party Services and SDKs
Our games include SDKs from the partners below. These partners collect data directly from your device under their own privacy policies, and some of them act as independent controllers of that data. We recommend reading their policies.
| Partner | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Apple (App Store, StoreKit) | Distribution, in-app purchases | apple.com/legal/privacy |
| Google (Google Play, Play Services) | Distribution, in-app purchases, in-app review, advertising identifier | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Unity Technologies (Unity Engine) | Game engine; collects device and performance data needed to run the game | unity.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| AppLovin (MAX) | Ad mediation and advertising | applovin.com/privacy |
| Amazon Publisher Services (Amazon Ads) | Ad bidding and advertising through MAX mediation | aps.amazon.com/aps/privacy-policy |
| Adjust | Install attribution and marketing measurement | adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy |
| Meta (Facebook SDK) | Marketing measurement | facebook.com/privacy/policy |
| Usercentrics | Consent management (GDPR/CCPA consent collection) | usercentrics.com/privacy-policy |
| Helpshift (Keywords Studios) | In-game customer support and help center | helpshift.com/legal/privacy |
| Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging) | Push notification delivery | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
Ad networks that serve ads through our mediation partners may also receive your advertising identifier and device data. The list of networks active in a game can change; the current list is available from the mediation partner’s privacy policy linked above or on request from us.
Advertising, Tracking and Your Choices
Our games are free to play and are funded by advertising and optional in-app purchases.
Personalised vs. non-personalised ads. By default, players in regions that require consent see non-personalised ads. Personalised ads, which use your advertising identifier and interests, are shown only if you agree. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy or ad settings inside the game or from your device settings.
Apple App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14.5 and later). When you first launch a game on iOS, Apple may ask whether you allow the app to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, we and our partners will not access your IDFA and will show non-personalised ads only. You can change this later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Android. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in Settings → Google → Ads.
Consent management. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland and other regions that require consent, our games show a consent screen at first launch, provided by Usercentrics, to record your advertising choices. You can change your choices later from the game’s settings menu or from your device’s privacy settings.
Push notifications. You can disable them at any time in your device’s notification settings.
Do Not Track. Our games do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because they are not delivered through a web browser.
In-App Purchases
All purchases inside our games are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Your payment details are collected and stored by them, not by us; we never see your card number. We receive a transaction record (product purchased, price, currency, date and an anonymised transaction ID) so that we can deliver the item, restore your purchases and keep our accounts. Refund requests are handled by the store where you made the purchase.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in the following cases:
- Advertising, analytics and attribution partners listed in Section 4, so that they can show and measure ads, provide analytics and attribute installs. Under some laws (for example the California CCPA/CPRA), passing an advertising identifier to an ad network for personalised advertising counts as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out as described in Sections 5 and 11.
- Service providers that host our servers, store data, send emails or provide support tools. They may use your data only on our instructions.
- App store operators (Apple and Google) to the extent needed to distribute the game and process purchases.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with a law, court order or lawful request from a public authority; to enforce our terms; or to protect the rights, property or safety of Eiwar Games, our players or others.
- Business transfers: if Eiwar Games is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified data (for example “40% of players finished level 10”) that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Children’s Privacy
Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK, or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
Where a game may appeal to younger players, we take extra steps such as showing only age-appropriate, non-personalised ads and not requesting tracking permission. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without the required parental consent, we will delete it as quickly as possible.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@eiwargames.com and we will look into it.
Data Retention and Security
Retention. We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as the law requires us to keep it (for example tax, accounting and commercial record-keeping rules), whichever is longer.
To decide how long to keep data we consider the amount and sensitivity of the information, the risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the purposes we collected it for and whether we can achieve them another way, and applicable legal requirements. Gameplay and analytics data that is no longer needed is deleted or aggregated so that it can no longer identify you.
Data held by our third-party partners is retained under their own policies. When you delete a game from your device, locally stored data is removed, but data already sent to our servers or partners is deleted according to the periods above or when you ask us to delete it.
Security. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and reputable cloud hosting providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Data Transfers
We operate globally. Our servers and partners are located in several countries, including the European Union and the United States, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live, including in countries whose data protection laws differ from yours.
When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or the UK equivalent, or on another lawful transfer mechanism. Where other laws require safeguards for international transfers, we apply the mechanisms those laws provide. You can ask us for details of the safeguards we use by contacting us (Section 12).
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your personal information.
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests and direct marketing.
- Port your data to another service in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise a right, email us at info@eiwargames.com with the subject line “Privacy request”, the name of the game and, if available, your player or device identifier so we can locate your data. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days (or the period required by local law) and will explain any exception that prevents us from fulfilling a request. You can also delete locally stored game data by deleting the game from your device.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
You have all the rights listed above under the GDPR and UK GDPR. If you believe we have processed your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California and other US states
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. In the past 12 months we have shared identifiers (advertising ID, IP address), device data and gameplay activity with advertising partners for personalised advertising, which may be considered a “sale” or “sharing”. To opt out, use the in-game privacy settings or the tracking settings on your device (Section 5), or email us. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws may have similar rights, including the right to appeal a decision on your request.
Other countries and regions
If you live in a country or region not listed above, you have the rights that its data protection laws give you. Use the contact details in Section 12 to exercise them; we will respond within the period local law requires.
Changes to This Policy and Contact Us
Changes. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add a new game, change an SDK or when the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will give notice inside the game or on our website before the change takes effect. Continued use of our games after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
